At this page are given a few answers to questions.
- Who is the target for this website?
The target of this site are students (and teaches) of the lower
classes of high schools (10-14 years old), and within that
the section 'Languages'. Of course also everyone interested
in (foreign) languages this site is for. The main language is
Dutch, but with help of the Internet Community I hope that this
site will grow to be a useful place for other language interested
people.
- What is the best way to use this site for educational purposes?
The site has a few uses, and depending on which is chosen the site
is used in different ways. The children can work through the site
themselves with a little guidance (for example in the
'games' section). But through another kind
of game they can use the site in groups (making crosswords for
example).
For teachers a few 'education plans'
have been made.
In general this site will be at it's best in an online usage,
however sometimes it might be more wanted to use the site offline
(to reduce internet-connection costs) for that usage a little
piece of software has been written. At the moment this is still
in beta, and dutch only, but it should come out available in
an English interface too. For more information email

- What is the added value of this site compared to the traditional
ways of education?
In comparison with traditional methods this site can be said about
that is is different by the way it can be used. The searching
can happen 'instantly' and all at that moment available information
can be displayed. And because of the 'modern technology' it can be
kept up-to-date cheaply and easily.
Also games can be played online. This makes it makes it possible
to make the game of 'multiple choice' each time show a different
set of questions (if correct).
- How long will the site be up-to-date, and how do you plan
to keep it that way?
This site is nearly always up-to-date, since the information
on it doesn't expire. A proverb is a proverb, and it won't change
(a lot). But other parts of the site can (and will be) kept up-to-date
by adding more puzzles, more game options, and of course more
information as it comes available. Of course visitors of this site
can also send in information, or puzzles they have created. The
theme of the puzzles should - of course - be 'Proverbs and Sayings'.
